I am Mrs. Melody Collier. But I am BEST known by my radio name, "HotChocolate". I’ve grown to prefer to be called “HotChocolate! I am a God-chaser & servant, wife, daughter, best friend, friend, agency owner, licensed & ordained minister, prophet, speaker, world traveler, greatness coach, motivational speaker, podcaster, entrepreneur, life insurance broker, philanthropist & radio show owner/ producer. I am a lover of LIFE!

HotChocolate is a name of affirmation given by my dark skinned, devoted great- grandfather (who I wholeheartedly called “Daddy”) when I was about 3 years old to affirm me and lift my spirits when I was constantly being bullied in my own African-American community because of my dark skin. This cruel treatment continued throughout all of my childhood years. This form of prejudice is now referred to as “colorism”. But at age 19, I blossomed into a beautiful butterfly because of an encounter with the voice of God. God convinced me of the beauty of my skin color…and all other skin colors. In that moment, he delivered me from the effects of being bullied and showed me how to truly appreciate my skin color and to genuinely love every other race & skin color all over the world. Because HE created them all. As doors opened to speak to others who were broken, the name “HotChocolate” became more than my “nick name”. It became my flag of Self-love,

Traveling the world is my passion and my hobby. I absolutely looooove learning and loving new people and experiencing new foods all over the world. I’ve made some tremendous memories and friends through traveling!

Sidebar: Louis Vuitton is my favorite brand. I call each purchase a “toy”. It’s fun for me. Every time I walk into a LV store anywhere in the world, I immediately smile and relax. I feel like I’m embarking upon a new adventure. Plus, each visit reminds me of every seed I’ve freely sown into others. Harvest happens in so many ways. Grateful.
